All You Need To Know About Camping Spares

Article by Nitin Patidar

People want to enjoy nature and spend several nights outside their homes. As the people go at far off places they enjoy camping at

places full of natural and open environment. As a matter of fact, going out for picnics at far off places is something liked by a major

proportion of people around the world. And when it comes to going out, camping is a very popular recreational activity. While going

for picnic people take various things with them and have different needs like camping, firing, cooking and many more.

It is very important to carefully list out all the camping spares and take them with you if you are going on a picnic trip. To ensure an

enjoyable and memorable outdoor experience you should have the entire essential camping spares with you. Camping spares list

should have tent (type of the tent should be selected according to the place you are going to enjoy) and a tent extension or a canopy

for sun shelter. Camping sleeping bags, air bed or camping sleeping mats, pillows and blankets are other important camping spares.

To enjoy your camping and having a comfortable picnic, you must have a folding chair and a camping table in your camping

equipment. In your camping spare list, you must include a lantern or a flash light. This would largely help you out while you would

move in the late evening or dark night hours.

All the basic camping tools such as camping axe, hand saw, multipurpose screw driver, pocket knife, hammer, nails, ropes and twins

should be there in your camping equipment. Although these things appear quite petty in their significance but these often prove of

immense help in certain unforeseen circumstances. All these tools would help you in building up your tent. Camping spares list

should also include a gas stove, pots and pans, can opener, coffee/tea pot, cutting board, and a kitchen knife. All the essential food

items, water and basic things used for your personal hygiene and clothing should also be with you. For entertainment purpose,

musical devices and your favorite novel or story book should also be there in your bags.

The other important thing to be considered is that one should make sure that the camping spares must be of plastic material. This

would make it easier to carry them and would lessen your burden. Thus it can be safely concluded that these instrument, equipment

and spares are inevitable prerequisites for enjoying a memorable picnic. A wise and efficient selection of this equipment is very

necessary. It would be worth spoiling your tour if you are going with an unplanned selection of camping spares. This would disturb

you throughout your tour and the basic aim of the recreational tour would be completely spoiled.

camping pots question by : How do I transplant a pine tree in to a pot when im camping?
I am looking to transplant a small pine tree so I can take home with me when I go camping

camping pots best answer:

Answer by Scott
First, a word about ethics. No trace camping, along with both State and Federal law, MAY prohibit this. The motto “Take only pictures, leave only footprints” is intended to reduce the impact of every forest visitor thinking they need to come home with a souvenir.

If this is allowed in your area there are additional considerations. Do pine trees grow where you live? Do you have the room (in all three dimensions) for a large tree with large roots that have the ability over time to break foundations, sidewalks and roadways. And is there a large change in climate between where the tree is now and where you live. Do you have the sun exposure needed by most pines.

When forests are replanted, seed source is a big issue. A seedling from a source within 1000 feet of the planted elevation is preferred.

If this all is good. The smaller the seedling the better. For seedlings up to a foot tall, a 1 or 2 gallon pot will work fine. Scrape the loose litter of the top of the soil use a shovel to cut straight down into the soil around the drip line (the outer perimeter of the limbs/branches). Once cut, use the shovel to pry out the root-ball.

Bigger trees need to be dug about 1/3 of their total height. So a 6′ tree would need a 2′ deep root ball.

A new pine sprout can be lifted out with ta small trowel into a cup.

Camping Grill

Article by Slavco Stefanoski

There are many great camping grills on the market, and before you choose, you should think about a few things. You don’t want to spend a lot of money on something that you will only use once a year when you are going camping, but at the same time, you don’t want to buy something that is not reliable so that you end up with no way to cook your food. In some cases, you may not even need a grill at all, but you do have to take a few things with you.

The more expensive camping grills are great if you do a lot of camping and you think you may even use it at home once in a while. Some are gas, and they are made to be portable for those who may take a long hike to get where they are going to camp. Some are a bit larger, but nothing like the ones you would by for your home. Instead, they are small enough to carry a short distance, but will sit nicely on the top of a picnic table and won’t blow away with a strong breeze.

Some like to get charcoal camping grills when they go, and that is a great idea if you don’t mind the wait for them to heat up, and you don’t think you will use it very often. They make a special size just for camping, and they are often small enough to be easily transported in the back of a truck or car. They are a bit messy, but they are the best value when you don’t want to spend a lot on something that you won’t be using again any time soon, or may even want to toss once your trip is over.

Sometimes you can find a great way to cook with wood, and you won’t need to have camping grills with you. Some have fire pits that allow you to have a safe fire, and you can put the grill screen over the fire and cook. You can find great ones that are meant for outdoor cooking over open flame. You don’t want to get something not made for that purpose because they might have strange chemicals on them that will burn off, or they may break too easily. No matter what type of camping grills you choose, make sure you don’t forget the cooking utensils, and getting sturdy ones for camping, in this case, is also a great idea.

How To Camp With ‘Green’ Supplies
lightweight camping cookware

Article by Naomi West

When we go on encamping trips we don’t always consider the animals that live their when we are not around. The earth is a beautiful place and the nature that is all around us is stunning. Regrettably there are certain people who take this for granted and will leave behind trash or pollute the earth while on these trips.

Supplies

The first thing you might do is to bring the correct equipment that are eco friendly. Do not bring along the plastic utensils and paper plates that when you throw away will sit in landfills for infinity. Instead you need to bring along light camping cookware and eating utensils and tin plates. These are low-priced, simple to pack, and can be found at any sports store.

It is significant that you bring sleeping bags and collapsible shelters that are constructed from reprocessed materials. These do not look that different and aid to support the companies that are working hard to make a difference in the world by helping to keep items out of the landfill.

Refuse

Too many mass who go on trips into the forest will leave gum wrappers or cigarettes. These are able to pollute the earth or be consumed by animals who cannot easily digest it right. Bring along trash bags to throw anything away and remember to throw it into the closest bin.

Lighting

What could be a better way to add lights to your site than to use solar camping lights. These are relatively low-priced and might burn for hours at a time. On cloudy nights they will utilize their substitute batteries and LED lights that burn twice as longer as the standard bulb. These come in many forms including; flashlights, lanterns, head lights, and string lights. Choose the ones that are going to be lightweight and easy to pack into your RV or backpacks.

Trailer Hitch Grills – Great for Camping and Tailgating

Trailer Hitch Grills – Great for Camping and Tailgating

Everybody loves something on the grill after a good game, while camping, during outdoor parties, and practically anywhere else a gathering can be held. During these events, grilled hotdogs and burgers are always a constant pair to whatever you’re drinking, may it be soda, juice or beer. So it’s safe to say that when the grill is brought out, the fun is had.

The usual scenario at a ball game is this: People bring a wide range of portable grills, from the small classic charcoal grill they take out of the trunk of the car and place on the ground, to the bigger ones with stands and legs, to the fully equipped really large gas grill at the back of a big trailer. There could be nothing more convenient than having a grill at an event, except if that grill is hitch mounted on your trailer.

Imagine yourself with a full-functional grill at the back of your trailer. No more bringing out all the parts, setting up and assembling, and all the hassle any other portable grill would give you even before you start the gas up. This hitch mounted gas grill just swings out from behind the trailer, stores all your refreshments in a cooler, and still has enough space for all the marinated meats you’ve prepared and brought along. So all you have it do is get out of the car, swing the grill out, turn it on, take out the goods, put on some good music provided by the built-in CD player that some of the high-end grills are made with, and you are ready to grill!

The hitch mounted grill takes snacking after a game up to a whole new level. With its portability and function, camp barbeques will never be the same. The grill comes in many different designs, enough to provide each griller a wide array of choices depending on the features that he or she will be going for. This includes the number of storage compartments, the size of the grill, and other features like ice chests and compartments that keep the marinated goods. Some of the designs can even make the hitch grill into a backyard grill, so you’re literally using your backyard grill everywhere you go. This new style of portable grill is becoming very popular among the wide range of portable grill designs nowadays due to its convenience and style, aside from its functionality and overall grill power. I would expect this product to be all over the place soon, given a year or two, and sporting events would have several of these super cool grills present in a game.

The trailer hitch grill uses a solid steel frame that fits into the standard trailer hitch, and a swing arm that lets you keep the grill at the back of your car when not in use. When you open it up, it swings so that the grill is perpendicular to the back of the car, and that’s wide enough so that you can still access the trunk of your SUV.

Price ranges for the hitch mounted grill are from hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars, the cheaper ones for the smaller hitch grills, and the higher price range for the hardcore grillers who wants the ultimate grill everywhere they go.
