Clothing:
Depending on where you are camping or hiking, you will want to take clothing that suits the weather. Technology has advanced the outdoor world with its high in polyester and wicking fabrics. No matter what weather you experience, clothing that is lightweight is always good.

Footwear:
The most important thing to think about when hiking or doing any outdoor activity is your feet. If your feet hurt,everything hurts. Spending extra money in this department is not a bad idea. Some good brands include: The North Face, Merrell, Keen, and Salomon. One pair of footwear that I would recommend is the amphibious, H2 Keen sandal.

Food:
Depending on how long you are going to be spending out on your adventure is how you should plan for food. Remember to keep everything in airtight containers or baggies so you don’t attract bears or other hungry preditors, and bring lots of snacks to keep you fueled out there. If you are going for a night or more, you can bring a cooler with you to store all your goodies. Don’t forget the ice! Sometimes cooking for a family or a large group of friends can be quite an undertaking out in mother nature. Bringing along a nature-cookbook will help.

good for picnic,
I have purchased Optimus Titanium 3-Piece Cutlery Set (fork, knife, spoon) and Brunton My-Ti 3-Piece Titanium Flatware Set. Both of them are very useful and must have for the picnics. I liked the Optimus design more than Brunton one, but the knife from that set has no sharp edge. That’s why I give 3 stars to Optimus and 5 stars to Brunton.

I purchased this cutlery set a few weeks ago and use it six days a week, at work, for my dinner. The knife cuts through steak and chicken with ease, no bad taste with the metal and it cleans easy. Very lightweight, you won’t even notice the different in your lunchbox! Buy a set today.

|Amazingly light, almost too light.,
You won’t even notice the weight of this set in your pack, but it might be a little weird eating with them. After a lifetime of using heavy flatware when eating, something just feels a bit “off” when using them. You’ll get over it.
