This is the largest pot in a three-pot series of 1-, 2-, and 4-quart Billy pots from the National Enameling and Stamping Company in Wisconsin – probably one of the last domestic manufacturers of pots and pans in the U.S.? Anyway, this is a nice, ‘non-stick’ surfaced pot for steaming, boiling, baking, and feeding a bunch of folks when camping. This is not a backpacking pot, but really isn’t that heavy (it’s lightweight aluminum). Nicely finished and lid fits tightly on top. I ordered the whole set; unfortunately, my 1-qt. pot arrived dented because these pots are not packed in bubble wrap or boxes (must be why they’re a bit cheaper?).

This little billy pot works perfect for me. I had recently moved to a neighborhood that has an annual chowder and I needed a small covered pot with a bail handle to take to the chowder. I’m so pleased I found it on Amazon.
