So-so toaster,
While this is a very affordable item that has been around for a long time, I am not sure this camping stove toaster is worth the weight of weight of packing. It does fold up real small though. The toast it makes is just so-so. It is hard to get a nice crisp texture without overdoing it and making it hard. I also do not like the taste of fuel that carries to the bread. The same can be said for the Coghlan’s model and the expensive Primus model. The Coleman is better than it used to be with a handle for convenience, but it does not toast any differently. To me, a better low cost method is to quickly toast the pan flat in a frying pan I already take anyway, with a bit of butter or bacon grease. And it has a taste that my family loves when it is pan fried.

|Good for bread!,
I bought this for my Coleman dual grill and stove. It’s a little to big to fit on the stove only. I was hoping to toast rolls with it but it works better with bread. If you put another piece of bread or roll on the top it helps to trap more heat and toast bread/rolls faster.

|Camp Toaster,
Works great, but you must watch closely for the shade of toast you want – will burn if left unattended
