A camping stove is an important piece of camping gear needed while going on a holiday. If the stove is to be used for cooking the food of a single person, then the single burner small camping stove is the ultimate solution. But when it comes to family use, the best option is to use the family camping stoves. These stoves are safe in use and often come with a grill attachment. They are powered by large gas canisters. However, in most cases, people generally opt for portable camping stoves. These stoves are lightweight and particularly designed for camp use.
A special kind of camping stove is found in the form of marine alcohol electric stove. It uses shore power, when dockside and alcohol, when underway. Other special stoves available are the camp chef stoves that come with proper cooking utensils and thus offer the perfect outdoor cooking kit.

camp chef griddle question by Cuong T: How clean cast iron grill
Hi
I bought a pre-seasoned cast iron grill/griddle that goes on top of the Camp Chef BBQ.. I dont know anything about cast-iron, but after the first use, it had burnt BBQ stuff all over it. Normally, I would have used a wire brush to clean it off, but reading online, a lot of people dont advise it. I tried washing it with hot water, soap, and a nylong scrubbing sponge, but it’s so difficult to get the gunk off.. Any ideas on how to clean it up without damaging it? I already notice the parts that i scrubbed is now lighter than the rest of the grill.

Put it back on the BBQ, close the lid and fire it up. Let it burn for 5-10 minutes, but keep an eye on it. Then, take a wire BBQ grill brush to it.

Darn near mil-spec,
Super-heavy construction, and preseasoned to boot. This is as close to a commercial griddle surface as you’ll ever take outdoors camping.
Did I mention heavy? It’s 29 freaking pounds! Gobs of thermal mass…I took it out to a big picnic of foodies, and we ran a bacon tasting (15-20 pounds of multiple bacon brands, cooked under cast-iron bacon presses) with superb results.
Not mentioned in the product description: the grease gutter incorporates a drain hole, and the product includes a wire cage to hang a steel can from as a grease catch. Nice.

If you have a sporting goods store nearby, you might save a few bucks by just going there to purchase this item. If the drive is too far or store does not carry the Camp Chef accessories, the free shipping offered makes up for the difference in price. Shop around.

This is a great griddle, but dont be confused by the SG90 part number, and think its going to cover your 3 burner SG90 stove. Its only 24″ long. This thing is HEAVY! Cooking breakfast was a joy though, the surface was a little uneaven heat wize, but you learn to take advantage of that quickly.
