Outdoor Camping Stoves

Article by Jared Smilton
There are numerous choices when it comes to outdoor camping stoves. There are single burner stoves to a full stove-oven combo and many options in between. Most of the stoves are fuelled by propane with limited choices other than a few that are charcoal. When on a hunting or camping trip there will always be fresh hot food and no more cold cut sandwiches day after day. With the different sizes, there will be the right stove for a group or an individual’s needs.
For families or groups on a camping trip, there are camping stoves that are designed to hold several pots/pans at once. There are several makers of double burner outdoor camping stoves. These all work off of propane cylinders (either the large refillable type or small canisters). Most of these stoves close or fold up for easy stowing and portability. Some of them also have fold out legs for the ability to be used as a tabletop or a standalone unit. The units with a built-in matchless ignition start, gives campers added security and safety.
The stove-oven combo camping stoves offer a unique outdoor cooking experience. Most have two large burners and oven space large enough to hold a Dutch oven. The output will allow the camper to use both burners and the oven at the same time. They are powered by the disposable one pound canisters, but can use the larger (twenty pounds) refillable propane tanks as well. The oven part can get as hot as 400 degrees Fahrenheit and comes with a thermometer.
The charcoal outdoor camping stoves are an alternative to the propane powered camping stoves for those weary of using gas or just prefer charcoal (or wood). These stoves are all on the smaller side, but get the job done just as well as the gas versions. They have fold out or collapsible smoke stacks and are very easily transported, even if hiking is required to get to the campsite.

wood camp stoves question by Haileigh: How much would this camp cost?
This camp is on a lake and it has:
3 bed rooms (but seven beds)
wood stove
gas oven
electricity
no pluming… but it does have a pump from the lake and an outhouse
I think it is on about 2 acres of land
has a dock onto the water
near Beddington, ME, about an hour away from Bangor (driving)
PS- this camp is not for sale…. I am just looking for a price estimation!

How much does a blue car with 4 tires and one spair tire, 2-head lights and two doors cost near beddington, oh ya and I think it runs. Stupid question get stupid answers. Who knows.

Great for marshmallows,
These roasting sticks are better than the traditional style with pointed ends. The reversed prongs help keep your food from sliding off and are safer for use by or around children. I tried them at a friend’s house and like them so much I decided to buy a set. They are a must have for backyard BBQs.

|Great Roasting Sticks, especially for Kids!,
These Roasting Sticks are especially long and safe enough for our young kids to handle, with help. I would have given this product 5 stars, but initially, when you put the roasting sticks in the fire, the metal turns a metallic rainbow color before burning off, so I guess you need to prep these sticks in the fire, before placing food on them. It’s a good thing my husband thought of doing this first. And, we really like that the ends of the sticks are curved instead of straight….safer for the kiddos to use, this was the main reason for us choosing this brand, and that they expand long.

|Best roasting stick ever!,
My husband and I got a set of these as a wedding gift. We have used them many times. Our kids have used them many times. They are great! They are durable and will last a long time. We are replacing our set, due to the unfortunate circumstances of leaving them at a camp fire out of state. The best feature by far is the curved back prongs that keep your food on your fork, instead of falling into the fire right when your marshmallow is all gooey and wonderful inside.
They are metal and they do get hot, so watch for kids swinging them around. Clean up is a breeze. Just leave them in the fire until the food residue burns off, let them cool and then pack them away again.
These are truly a must-have for any campfire roasting activities!

|Depends on how much capital it brings in, what other similar properties in the area run, cost on construction minus depreciation or a combination of the three.
