corn in the husks, grilled veggie kabobs (love zucchini, squash, red potatos, mushrooms). grilled carrot is one of my favs and boil a can of baked beans

  2. Johnka says:

They’re all great but try corn on the cob, potatoes, – wrap in Al foil after coating with butter. Cook till redady. If you want to cheat put the potatoes in the microwave for a couple of minutes before you leave home.

Is a grill the only thing you have? Never mind…you don’t have to always grill things on it.
Grills hold pans of many kinds, and small grills beneath a simple stand that supports a pan can handle heavy ones that cook soups and stews and Bolognaise Sauce and spaghetti or whatever meal you may wish to cook.
Dutch ovens on them make pasta bakes and stews, pot roasts, broths, and soups.
And stands support biscuit tin ovens or better ovens for baking breads and cakes, flans, quiches, roast meats, and casseroles.
But grills cook well as well, satay and grilled peppers, chicken pieces and flambe’d sugar carrots on a stick, cooked first and coated with whatever next exciting sauce is dreamed up in the higher spaces of the mind.
I don’t starve at camp and I’m very rarely on a site. Wild camping suits me, and good cooking.
All the above can be done atop a mountain or in the middle of a desert just as easily as in a camp site.
    Have fun.
Some ideas on here on the long answer

Campfire pizza! You can buy the pizza/pie maker metal stick thingies at the store, it’s 2 sticks that each have 1/2 of the square case at the end. You take some bread and spray butter, and butter the bread and put a slice in each side like you would a grilled cheese. Then put some sauce and cheese and pepperoni in there, close the 2 sticks together and cook it. It’s incredibly good, and now you’ve gone and gotten me in the mood for one. I need to go plan a camping trip…

  5. Ashley Marie says:

    hot dogs
    ham burgers
    corn
    grilled cheese
    chicken

bring a pot so you can boil some water
