Observing the vapor rise from a piping mug of coffee somehow calms the stillness around me and soothes me to my very soul. Coffee is, without a doubt, a distinctive drink and when I feel of all that goes into the procedure of acquiring this cup here for this last moment, I sit and ponder it in awe.

The beans for the coffee grounds more than most likely all began in a country in South America. Let’s say Columbia for example. Weeks, even years earlier the cocoa plant would have been grown in order to some day produce the harvest of which I am now enjoying. Who planted the seed? And what do the faces of those who tended the plant until it was ready for this season’s harvest look like? Is this their living, or do they’ve a lot more than one strategy for obtaining income? Did the same folks harvest these beans, or were others hired to help? To where were the beans transported? Is there a grinder on the property itself or was this harvest shipped to a firm before being ground? And then, obviously, there’s the scooping, packaging, and shipping from the grinder to a warehouse. Is this warehouse within the United States or somewhere abroad? Lastly, though, I know that it somehow reached my nearby supermarket, expecting my purchase.

Once taken home, it is immediately stored inside the freezer so as to retain freshness. Whenever I need to brew a pot, I basically open the freezer, take out the container and place an suitable amount into the coffee filter (and, needless to say, adding cinnamon to the grounds for enhanced flavor). But, who thought to design the coffee pot and use filters at all? Years ago growing up, we employed to make use of an incredibly special version of a coffee maker when we would go camping. This version, needless to say, did not require the use of a paper filter at all. In fact, a short canister of metal having a few miniature holes in it would instead be filled with coffee, a lid placed on it, and then the entire “coffee filter” would be placed within the pot itself. You know, you’ve in all probability observed that kind just before yourself.

At any rate, when I am experiencing and enjoying the fragrance and flavor of my coffee, it causes me to reflect on all of those just before me who invented, produced, and enhanced the findings of other people to give me the mug of rich flavor that I’ve right now. Drinking coffee is indeed a journey back into time, into history, and into the lives of others so as to tell an account of all that has been done simply to create 1 little drink of coffee.

HI all wondering if anyone can help i am currently in the process of a planning a explorer Scout camp for 14-18yr olds and was wondering if anyone has any safe but funny tasks i can include in the scouts secret missions so far i have these
1)Write a limerick about 3 members of the leader team the funnier the better .
2)Make a pot of Nettle tea
3)Make a leader a cup of tea or coffee at a time during camp when they are least expecting it (the funniest place the better)
4)With out causing damage move a leaders tent around !! (try capture the moment they return )
5)Tie someones show laces together while there Not wearing them

I need to come up with at least another 10 can anyone help LOL
